Trend is not available

Hi guys, I’m trying to create a trend chart but I don’t see it available on the menu. My data is in Elasticsearch.

Hi @Paul, please provide more information about the source data such as how many attributes, metrics, and datetime fields it has.

Sure, the source data includes 3 attributes and 1 datetime field, no metric fields.

Got it, the condition for Studio to show Trend on the menu is that the data source must have at least one attribute, one metric, and one timestamp field. We are relaxing this logic in our current release. For now, simply switch to code mode and specify the chart as “Trend”. You can use count as metric as well as count distinct for any attribute. And you can trend by any attribute not only time fields.
